this piece hangs in the quaint storefront of Notary Ceramics - the base is crafted from wild foraged Ivy Vines - hanging from Ivy chains.

this eighty foot long wild foraged ivy chain was created in the forest as a meditation piece. many hours were spent sitting on forest floor, foraging, listening to the birds, watching the squirrels play and taking in the energy of trees.

HBO - FULL BLOOM AUDITION

Portland, OR

Created - 2019

One day someone claiming to be an HBO casting agent slid into my DM’s. At first I didn’t trust it - and then we had a phone call. They wanted me to audition for their floral design competition TV show called Full Bloom. A few weeks later I was on Zoom with the casting director. I had to make the installation in my house and decided to craft a floating spiral around my dance pole.

I didn’t end up making it into the final round, but I was in the top 50 out of thousands of floral designers in the country!

I still wonder how I would have held up on reality tv.
